We shall be Volunteers, dedicated to minimizing loss from these emergencies through fire suppression, training, public education, investigation and innovative programs.”

Did you know that the fire hose and ladders that we use can go bad? Fire hose is specially designed to hold high pressures of water and resist punctures/tears/cuts all while being exposed to high heat. However, as the hose ages these design features can wear out potentially creating water supply issues threatening the safety of our crews and limiting the ability to extinguish fire.

We got some rain. Just a reminder that we are still in a drought. Drought conditions provide the perfect conditions for fires to spread rapidly and limited water supply for fire operations.

Santa is making his list and wants to hitch a ride on our firetrucks and visit with you!
Mark your calendars! On the afternoon of Saturday, December 21st we will be escorting Santa throughout the Lincoln area in Ephrata Boro, Ephrata Township, and Clay Township.

It's Fund Drive Friday!

If you haven't donated yet, you should have received a reminder in the mail recently. Did you know that we typically receive around 25% return on our fund drive? This means that only 1 out of 4 houses and businesses in our first due area contribute to our fund drive.
